Christmas Party

I attend a scrap-booking group a couple times a month along with four Japanese women and one other OAP from America. A couple of the Japanese ladies have lived in Ohio before and have experienced the holiday season in America. We decided to have a Christmas party with our kids the week before Christmas.

Makiko-san and her son making taco-yaki (octopus balls)

The boys were so cute helping put the taco (octopus) in the balls.

The kids had so much fun playing together and pulling party poppers.

Rylee made a new friend, Rio-chan.

Avery loved sitting on the floor with the other kids to eat lunch.

Rylee showing off her chopstick skills.

All the kids exchanged gifts, it was so much fun!

This is the scrap-booking group, from the top;
Kwan, Yukie, Kaori, Stacie, Kaioko, and Makiko (who is cut off, Rylee took this pic for me....not too bad for a four year old)
