Nikko Mountains - Obon Week August 2009

One of the must see sights in the Ustunomiya area is the Nikko Mountains and Chuzenji Lake.

We took a rope-way to a mountain top to see a stunning view of Chuzenji Lake and waterfalls.

There are several Historical Haritage sights in the Nikko area.

We visited the historic Kanaya Hotel, the first western style hotel in all of Japan.

Tokyo Weekend - Obon August 2009

The last weekend of Stephanie and Kerri's visit we spent sight seeing in Tokyo. We started with shopping and lunch in Ueno. For lunch we had Korean BBQ.....oishi!!

After lunch we checked into our lovely, but tiny hotel room.

Wanpaku Summer Time Fun - August 2009

One of favorite places to go this summer was Wanpaku Park, actually it's one of our favorite places to go year round. This summer we especially enjoyed picnicking and playing in the fountain springs.
